Rose gold is a gold and copper alloy also known as 'red' or 'pink' gold.
The difference between these colours depends on the copper content. The higher the copper content the stronger the red colouration.
We love the subtle and delicate colour of rose gold which may intensify somewhat with age due to a slight but attractive tarnishing of the copper.
